I know, this is "bedding" chic, but really, when you're at the beach - - your beach towel is sort of like your bed for the day.  So... you might as well have a seriously chic beach towel too.

Of course the ne plus ultra of beach towels is the Hermes beach towel.  Yikes, are they expensive though!  Bluefly has some right now with at least a minor savings of 10%.

I know, that is really steep for a beach towel... but they are really nice. They're made with thick cotton terry and hemmed edges, good size (37 x 60") and made in France of course.

Speaking of chocolate brown... I love a dash of this color in an all-white bathroom.  Think white marble floor, white subway tiles, white Kohler fixtures... This shower curtain from Ballard Designs looks great and is an amazing value at just $42, monogrammed!

It also comes in black, red, sage and taupe.

Then, to match, these "Bel Tempo" Matouk towels... They're quite pricey, but the quality is really nice. I'd skip the monogram on these... I don't like things too overly matchy.

I have the bath mat.  I love it.  $68 is a lot for a mat though...

Wow, look at this beautiful leather bed by Crate & Barrel (Archer Leather Bed, $1,899 - $2,099). It looks like a nice leather couch turned into a bed.  I love chocolate brown leather...

Perhaps you're getting ready for your Summer share (Hamptons or NJ Shore), or even luckier you have a place to yourself for the Summer...  Well, then it's the perfect time to think about sheets in prints!  I really like prints, even the silly ones, but I would never put them at my home because I prefer my room to have a certain "look".  But I would definitely have them at my Summer house.  Prints are great for shares too, because your sheets certainly won't get mixed up with anyone else's.  I think The Company Store and Garnet Hill have the best prints around.
