Westin Heavenly Bed, yes it was heavenly

I stayed at the Westin New York Times Square on Wed. night and I was really impressed with the bed and bedding!  It was super comfy. I especially liked their down pillows.  It turns out you can buy the whole bed and bedding on their site: Westin At Home.

You can buy the entire bed (mattress, box spring) and all the bedding from $2,670 for a Queen size.

The pillow that I really liked is available in queen and king for $75/$85.  It's a 50/50 blend of European goose down and feathers.

Cool Bamboo/Cotton Duvet Covers in Bamboo Print

I love the look of bamboo... if I had a yard, I think I'd want to grow a bunch of it.  So of course I also love bamboo prints.  Here is an interesting duvet cover from Unison Home, Reed Bamboo Cotton.  It's on sale right now from $22 for a pair of standard cases to $121 for a king duvet cover.  Below is the lemongrass color.

It is a bamboo (rayon from bamboo)/ cotton blend 70/30 in 200 thread count and is made in Portugal.

It also comes in water and sand colors which are a bit more subdued than the lemongrass.

A Damask on a Grand Scale

Take a look at this beautiful pattern called "Grand Dame" from Hudson Park, it features a damask design blown up into a huge scale, it's quite striking!

I'm not usually a purple/lavender person but I find this palette very soothing and tranquil.
